>Neri Oxman is an Israeli-American architect, designer, and professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She is the founding director of the MIT Media Lab's Mediated Matter group, which focuses on the intersection of computational design, digital fabrication, materials science, and synthetic biology. Oxman has been recognized for her contributions to the fields of architecture and design, and has been awarded numerous honors, including the TED Prize and the American Institute of Architects' Young Architects Award.
